What is an exposition?
Definition: An exposition is usually a piece of writing or speech intended to give information of explain usually a specific topic.
An exposition is often used in newspapers and to clearly show the point shown. It is usually clear and concise so that the reader will now the point that the writer is trying to bring across. An exposition also normally shows the past and the future of the topic discussed. It is also very different from a personal narrative as it clearly discussed the point instead of keeping the reader in suspense and giving many details. An exposition is also mostly not written in first person point of view as it mostly shows the historical context of the topic discussed. The most common exposition seen is the newspaper. Other examples include debates. Personal speeches and narratives are not included under exposition.
